Pre-race routine:

Woke up around 05:30. We had everything packed in the before. Ate a bagel with some peanut butter. Filled the water bottles and was on the road around 06:15.

I couldn't believe my time on this swim. Something had to be wrong. The course felt a little short to me, but another guy overheard Jamie and I talking about it, and said that the course was long. Don't think I believe him.
What would you do differently?:

Not sure there is much I can do differently. I'm totally ecstatic about my time in the swim.

This is a pretty good T1 time for me. My bike was racked very close to the Bike Out.
What would you do differently?:

Tryto hurry more. Get socks on feet faster. Try to stay balanced.

This was a great ride for me. Jamie and I went out the day before the race to practice the ride, and we did it in 45 minutes. I pushed a lot harder on this ride, and it shows in the time.
What would you do differently?:

Work at pushing up the hills. Work at shifting. Just get in better shape. I would love to get a tri bike (Cervelo) instead of using my road bike.

I had a little bit of a hard time getting my running shoes on. They just didn't want to slip over the heel. I think I have my yanks just a little too tight. Overall an OK T2 for me.
What would you do differently?:

Loosen up the yanks just a bit. Also run with the race belt and put it on, instead of just standing there trying to put it on.

It only took me about a half of a mile to get my legs to feel like they were actually there. The rest of the run felt pretty good. I knew I could have gone faster, but wasn't sure why the legs weren't letting me run faster.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster.
Post race
Warm down:

Stood at the finish line and waited for Jamie to finish. Drank a lot of water. Got some pretty good race food and sat by a tree with Jamie and had lunch.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

As always, my weight limits my ability to go faster. It's getting better though.

Event comments:

I love the Clark Lake Tri. I will be doing this one every year.
