Worrying about rough water kept me plenty warm, relieved when they cut it short!

Swim cut short due to rough water...and it was! Did this a a mixed relay with my husband. Rank for swim 8/25
What would you do differently?:

Start slow and breathe more at beginning. Unsure if should have worn wetsuit or if increased agility without would've been better in the rough conditions.

LOVE wetsuit strippers! Spent about 1 minute getting helmet buckled, not sure what problem was. Was pretty winded from the short, stressful swim.

Make sure helmet buckles easily...not sure how!
