Is was really downpouring on the bike with some big puddles on the road. Pretty slick and slightly dangerous. Pushed a bit but wanted to stay safe too.

Because of the heavy rain the run was actually the worst part of the race. The dirt path had turned to mud with deep puddles throughout. Slipped and fell at one point and lost my shoes because it got stuck in the mud at another. Thankfully the shoe was easy to find.

Watched my kids participate in the Splash and Dash for kids.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The weather and not enough training.

Event comments:

I thought that the race went really smoothly considering the weather and I give a lot of credit to all the volunteers and cheerleaders out on the course!
