Comments: I suck on the bike. The first 20 miles were great, I was flyin'. The next 36 were terrible; mostly because of stomach issues but I wasn't prepared very well for the ride. One and a half pacages of shot blocks, half a bottle of gatorade, two bottles of water... Hit the wall. What would you do differently?: Find new nutrition. Ride my bike more than 6 times during training. Transition 2
Comments: Had to put pain patches and knee braces on as well as tie shoes. Put a bunch of food in my jersey pockets and ran back to take some out. What would you do differently?: Eat in transition, yanks, knee replacements. Run
Comments: Couldn't decide whether to throw up or lose it the other direction. Zero nutrition beyond two slices of orange and a little water. Continued hitting the wall. Knees held up better than I thought they would. Feet went numb for most of the race (probably go without pain patches next time). Totally worked from the bike and so little nutrition. What would you do differently?: Train better for the bike, find different nutrition. Post race
