Pre-race routine:

Rock climbing the night before w/ hand usage until failure. No breakfast, No dinner last night. Arrived 1 hour early, but waited in line for 25 min to get number.

More training needed. Pace myself and relax more

Tried rubber banding shoes for the first time. Worked very well except left tongue got lodged in shoe. Rode w/o changing shoe.

Place number belt on waist rather than on chest. Caused compression feelings on bike.

Lack of proper hydration, Lack of long distance swims started out w/ elevated HR in the 170's. Need more bike distance.

A great race w/ medium grade hills. Little transistion room w/ bikes tightly spaced.
