Pre-race routine:

Raining all morning. Went to transition and racked bike and left tri bag. Wondered around checking out venue. Drank some fluids. Did not plan to take anything during event.

Forgot the flying dismount, had to run in shoes. Not too bad, short distance from dismount to rack. Grabbed from fuilds and a gel.

Raining less, fluids felt good. Had a gel on the run and some water from water stattions. Felt good. First race with Garmin, went by feel. Pretty happy with pace. If I can only do it for an OLY!

Fluids on bike before run.

Warm down:

Took bike and bag back to car, tried to dry off. Had some water and a bagel.

Event comments:

Considering the weather and my first podium, this was a decent event. One comment, mile markers during run. Might not be possible since same route a bike, but would have helped.
