I tried to start in a little closer to the front on the bouy line. It wasn't too bad, just spent most of the time fighting some chick next to me that couldn't swim straight. I really need to work on the swim fitness.

I could get the suit off and i took forever in transition. I fought with my garmin....bleh
What would you do differently?:

I want to practice getting on the bike with the shoes already mounted and see how that goes.

Bike was alright but I was really disappointed with my speed. I expect more from myself but I also know I haven't been putting in the time to get the results I want.

T2 was good grabbed a visor, number belt and went on my merry way...I like that they rack by the race number/last name so i am always right by the bike in/out

Run was good for me. I am consistently running under 26min/5k.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around, waited for my dad to finish. My mom brought bbq chicken for lunch so I ate with them... yum. Waited for awards, which took forever. I see there were timing issues again with several people missing splits, etc.....

Event comments:

I was pretty geeked, this is a 7 min improvement over the last time i did this race in 2007. yeah!!!
Pops finished 4 min faster than the last time we were here too...
