Swim
Comments: I knew the swim would be tough for me since. I had a goal of not drowning. My second goal if I didn't drowned was to finish under 30 minutes. I did the breast stroke almost the entire way. What would you do differently?: I need to start swimming so I can use the crawl. Transition 1
Comments: Being my first tri I wasn't really sure how it would work. I spent way to much sitting drying my feet and even sat down which really slowed me down. The wetsuit came off pretty good but putting my shirt on was a pain. What would you do differently?: I won't sit down next time. Not worry about the shirt or wear it under the wetsuit. Bike
Comments: Enjoyed the biking although it felt like we were always going up hill. Could use more time practicing but all in all was happy with my effort. What would you do differently?: I should of tightened my shoes a bit earlier as I wasn't getting all of my effort in the beginning. Transition 2
Comments: I unclipped prior to the dismount line. I jogged to my spot and cam from the wrong side as everyone around me rack from the other side which made it tough to get my bike on the rack. Made a quick change into my running shoes. What would you do differently?: I am thinking about getting rid of my lace so I don't have to tie my shoes. Run
Comments: The first hill was tough and you had to do it twice as it was a loop coarse. I was able to run the time and felt good. What would you do differently?: Just get in more mile prior to race day. Post race

I just signed-up the week of the race. Some friends were doing it and I thought it would be fun. I was able to get a couple bike rides. I also did an open water swim on 6/19/09.
I did some basic stretching and brisk walking.
