 Comments: It was hard to get into a calm swim stroke. I was breathing every stroke on my R side. My goggles constantly fogged up and filled with water so I was always stopping and fixing them. I also had to pee so bad and would tread water for a couple seconds to try to go, but couldn't! I can't believe I did it in 17 minutes with all of the extra problems. I'm excited for my next swim! What would you do differently?: pee before swim. calm down. draft. get better goggles.  Transition 1 
 Comments: I did my transition in 2 minutes according to my husband who was watching. But then I waited for Kelly to get done with her transition so that added about 3 minutes to my transition time. What would you do differently?: not much  Bike 
 What would you do differently?: train harder on the bike! The trail was 10 miles and it is ridiculous that it was my first time ever doing 10 miles on my mountain bike..haha!  Transition 2

Post race What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of training. we decided 6 1/2 weeks before the race that we were going to do it. i got sick the monday before the race and didn't train the whole week. not much of a routine! waited to put my toe clips, water bottle cage, and tire pump on bike until the morning of race. had to choose between water bottle cage and bike pump because i couldn't fit both...i chose water.
stretched, tried not to freak out from being so nervous!
