Comments: I'm pleased w/ the progress concidering 10 weeks ago it took me 25 minutes to swim 400 meters. Still a lot of work to reach my goal of 7 minutes for 500 meters. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Better than the previous transition. Still think I can do better. Fumbled a bit. What would you do differently?: Need to rehearse more and practice T coming out of a pool. ![]() Bike
Comments: Decent bike. Thighs seemed to feel fatigue early in the race. Thinking the 15 mile run a week before may have zapped me a bit. First half of the race was ruff, did not feel I got into a rythem till last 3/4 of the race. What would you do differently?: Control myself and not do a 15 mile run a week before a race. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Toes were numb coming off the bike. I am using Yankz on my running shoes so theoretically should just be able to slide in to them. Had shoes prepped w/ body glide. Went to slide into them and calf immediately cramped up. Had to sit to put on shoes. What would you do differently?: Need to be more efficiant putting on my shoes. Need to practice this more. ![]() Run
Comments: Good run. Very winded coming of the bike though and never did get my breath. What would you do differently?: Not much. Need to figure out if I can come in off the bike not so winded. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Walk around What limited your ability to perform faster: Wind Event comments: This sets my base line for next years tris.
