Pre-race routine:

Up early, around 7am. Had a nice breakfast of banana, yogourt raspberries and a piece of toast with PB, and of course some good strong coffee.
Event warmup:

not much, about 1km slow job and a few A-skips.

Comments:

Great course, one lane of the road is blocked off, and lots of locals come out to clap as you run by.
What would you do differently?:

Slow down int he first half. Ran the first 10K in 37:00, which burned me out for the second half. The hill at the 15 K mark crushed me and the last 5K ended up taking about 22 minutes.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Dropped my gel, so I didnt have anything to eat at the 10K mark ;(

Event comments:

Well organized event, registration was a breeze and the race started on time. As usual, there werent enough bathrooms!
