Comments: Well... Gettin' ready for this run was impossible this week. Went up to Illinois (drove from Dallas, TX) to visit my girlfriend's Mom and Brother from Monday to Friday. Didn't get in until 11:00pm last night. Didn't get to run at all during this week. I really think it hurt my runtime. What would you do differently?: Plan much more in advance. My goal is to run in the sub 20mins. Need to start a new nutrition plan since I really don't have one at the moment. Post race
Warm down: Didn't have much of one other than light stretching and jogging to shake out my legs. What limited your ability to perform faster: On the second mile I could feel my thighs cramp some, then about 2.5miles in my diaphragm was cramping some. Really I was very poorly prepared. Woke up at 6:00am. Ate a bowl of cereal (cheerios), steady stretching.
Arrived at 7:30, steady stretching, with a warm up jog while shaking out my legs. Race started at 8:00am.
