Great first half-problem on the return with keeping in line. Sun was in my eyes.
Went smooth. I have not mastered the art of mounting bike with shoes already clipped in so I had to run in my bike shoes.
felt good getting back into transition. No real issues.
Felt really good. Was not able to keep my pace since all the markers were in km and I am not smart enough to figure that out.
Had some water and sports drink. Then hung out with my daughter on all the "jumpy" things. When transition opened, my friends and I grabbed out bikes and rode 10 miles home. From there, had a couple beers and went out to lunch before driving back to KC.
only problem I had was the parking. Seemed tough to get bikes into transition as well as race morning parking. Everything worked out, but most races I have done went a little smoother.

Had a half cup of black coffee and a Nature Valley Bar. Took off with my couple friends who were also doing the race to park at the "mall" and ride the shuttle.
Borrow a pump for the tires, wait in line for the portable tiolets- great warmup.
