Hung out with my wife and the other runners/walkers there.

Event comments:

For a small town race with minimal sponsorship, this was a fun treat for me. I was scheduled for a 6 mile run in my training plan, so this was a fun way to get it in. Plus, because I was the only male in my age group, I scored free tickets to the movie theater. :)

Course: Flat, fast, and scenic. Most of it was on a running/walking/biking trail, some of it was on a sandy road. Overall, though, it was not horrible. There were not any hills on the course, though.
