Pre-race routine:

Travel to Rochester on Saturday. Found the park and drove the bike route. Did a few laps in the pool and food and had few beers and to bed.

I need to start in the front as I am apparently a much better swimming than I think I am. I didn't even try and was 5th in my age group and less than 30 seconds back from 1st.
What would you do differently?:

Start in the front and just go!

Dropped my sunglasses and had a hard time resetting the bike computer.
What would you do differently?:

Restart the bike computer early, skip the garming and gloves, and concentrate on breathing and take in more fluid at the beginning of the bike.

I could NOT get my heart rate to drop and a cross-wind almost killed me while I was going 40 mph.

Drink more fluids at beginning of the race.

Shoe fell off my bike while running and had to turn around and get it.
What would you do differently?:

I think I am going to peddle to the finish and run with shoes on next time.

I don't even want to talk about it. Muscle-wise, I actually felt great. I just couldn't get my stomach to work and my heart rate to drop.
What would you do differently?:

More bricks!!!

Walked around a bit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Started in the back on the swim, bad transitions, and a stomach that hated running.

Event comments:

They need more water stations before and after the race when you need it most!

My stomach locked up and I couldn't even get into a pace until mile 1 and couldn't pick up my pace until mile 2. Felt like crap!!!
