Swim
Comments: Felt like I was having a better swim than this. Drafted with a guy who had a thunder kick, so I new where he was at all times. Everynow and then he would just dissappear, but like a sonar his kick was easy to pick up and get back together. Passed him after the final bouy and headed to shore. What would you do differently?: Now that I know what the swim time was should have gone on around my drafting partner and found someone else. But it was good to stay connected for a lengthy time, first time in awhile I've held on to draft for an extended time. Transition 1
Comments: Used the wetsuit stripper, usually don't since Transition was crowded was a good choice. Foot came of of pedal at start of bike didn't have my foot on my shoe good, but no real time loss. Bike
Comments: This is my week spot, although it was very windy I chose to keep to my game plan, keep HR at 163 and stay relaxed especially on the headwind portion. Did OK here but still have to get stronger on the bike. What would you do differently?: I'm happy with the ride, continued strength will make this portion better. Transition 2
Comments: Excellent dismount, pro quality(LOL) at least it felt like it was. Long run to rack did OK took a little to long getting into run mode. As usual need to improve this. Run
Comments: Got a little run redemption from my last event. HIM in Jacksonville that didn't go so well. Kept HR right where I wanted, took my ampiphod bottle belt with me this time. It worked out well never stopped at an aid station. I find these become an excuse to stop or walk. I train with this belt and its the first time I've used in a race I'll continue to use it at any distance above a sprint. What would you do differently?: Wish I was 20. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, did some stretching and got some food and drink. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing really, windy bike course was not going to be in my favor. I knew that before the day started. Event comments: Good Race, liked the location and course. Last updated: 2009-07-02 12:00 AM

A little out of sink since we were out ot town, but we made due and it worked out ok. Forgot to get somw water bottles to take to race for use had to find someplace open. Got what we needed and headed to race. Bagel and some fruit and one cup of coffee.
A little rushed, since I was in one of the last waves and they didn't want you there to early, and they closed transition pretty quickly once I was there. So not real warm up other than an quick swim prior to start.
