Got up at 3:50. Ate blueberry pancakes and drove to site. Arrived at 5:40. Drank a Heed drink while setting up.

Great swim considering I have only gone 2500 total yards in the last 2 weeks. Felt great. Stayed long. Was able to easily get around all of the folks from the waves in front of me.

Felt like a great race for the wet conditions.
Rank says that 3 people over 40 passed me but only 3 total people passed me. 2 were clysdales. Not sure how the two people finished ahead of me without passing me.

Run felt good. Still had trouble breathing at one point and had to back off a bit.

Need to do more sprint work to get better breathing

Warm down:

Walked the 1.5 miles from finish to transition area, changed clothes and walked back. Walked back to TA after awards.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Had a great race. Still need to work on getting stronger on bike and run. Need to work on transitions.

Event comments:

Great after event food. Chicken sandwiches they grilled right there.
