Nice lake to swim in. Swim was shorter then last year do to algae in the other lake.

Felt great on the bike. Used race wheels and my new aero helmet for the first time in a race.

Drank almost all my water on the ride.

Wind at my back on the way out. 23.6 MPH ave at mile 10 until I hit the wind and small hills on the way back.


What would you do differently?:

Maybe push a little harder.

Comments:

Race number fell of my bib belt when I was out on the bike. I had to fix this while starting my run. I lost maybe 5-10 sec trying to fix this while running.

Drank no water on the run.

Started to get a very light side cramp on the run but it never got to a point that it slowed me down

If this was really 3.1 miles this run was my fastest 5k ever.

This is the 2nd time I have done this race. Last year it was my first tri ever. Swim was 300m shorter but I still took about 20 min of off last years time.
