Pre-race routine:

Showed up early to sign in and got everything set up for transitions. Walked around to get layout of facility.
Event warmup:

First race and only did light stretching! Did not want to waste much energy since the winds were very strong.

Was slow, but was worried about getting into pedals more than speed. Will work to improve with practice. Need to watch others on some off weekends to see better technique.

Not sure will learn more by watching others.

Training for run needs to become my focus at this point.

Warm down:

Walked around and watched others finish. Got some water and started to clean up transition area.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weight loss has not been enough that the run was too hard. Must focus on addidtional weigth loss and do longer run workouts.

Course: Course was wet and the wind gusts were very strong. I would guess they head wind on the back was around 25 mph. Flat course for the most part, but the slight incline was also with the wind in your face.
