Pre-race routine:

1.5 bowls of Cheerios and 1/2 pb sandwich, lots of water 2hrs before.

Comments:

Swim was ok; first ocean swim of the year, but I followed someone most of the time, and was ok. Buoys were impossible to see. Made a navigation error coming back...to close to shore, then had to swim out to hit buoy.
What would you do differently?:

Stop and breast stroke to find buoy.

At first felt a little dead on the bike...this took about 10mins to fade, then felt stronger. Should have pushed harder...was about 5 bpm below LT (but I felt like I was going strong). Need to increase suffering index.

Ok event; need larger buoys in ocean and the roads were really rough in spots. A good day, though (great weather).
