Comments: Except for the cool temperatures it was another gorgeous day for a run in the Rockies. What would you do differently?: Run past 22 km in training. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Walking, stretching. What limited your ability to perform faster: Cardio was good, muscles were getting sore in the last 5 km. Event comments: This was my 5th year running the half marathon (22km). 2001 - 1:51:45, 2002 - 1:45:12, 2003 - 1:47:23, 2004 - 1:51:19, 2005 - 1:47:16. Quite happy with my result and I attribute the 2nd fastest time for me to the improved cardio I've gotten through adding swimming and biking to my routine. Some light running and stretching. Temperature this year was very cool. Fine if you were in the sun but lining up at the start in the shade it was cold. Puddles were frozen over with a thick sheet of ice.
