What would you do differently?: move quicker Bike
Comments: Lots of drafting, group packs, and 2, 3, and even 4 wide riding. This made passing tough. There was one group of about 6 or so riders that was riding 3 wide the whole race at an avg of around 19-20, the same rider was out by the yellow the entire time. I know this because unfortunately they were one of the groups I couldn't put behind me fully until my 3rd pass. I was assessed a penalty when trapped within this group. Transition 2
Comments: A bit quicker than T1, but I still need to move faster. What would you do differently?: I took my bike gloves off at the start of the run and stuffed them in the jersey back pockets. I don't know what it was exactly that bugged me about this, but it was not comfortable and I won't do it again. Probably will skip the bike gloves in future sprints. Run
Post race
Warm down: Had some water/food and hung with my wife and daughter at the post race festivities. Event comments: This was the largest field to date for me and also the most challenging. The race seemed very well set up and organized. Last updated: 2009-07-15 12:00 AM

Rough night sleeping, probably 4 hours worth tops. The munchkin decided she'd rather make an attempt at a new decibel record with her screams than sleep. She succeeded. I liked the later start, 8:55am. Arrived Gloucester about 7:45, I was worried I'd be late, but I had plenty of time.
