Pre-race routine:

Arrived at the parking lot and got into my warmup routine after I checked in.
Event warmup:

Stretched for 10 minutes after a 5 minute jog.

Comments:

Nice run. Had a tailwind on the route out so unfortunately, it was a headwind on the return route. The sand was pretty packed so it wasn't too difficult to run on.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Post race
Warm down:

Stretched and walked around a bit. Wadded into the surf. Couldn't swim as I had originally planned due to the jelly fish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Practice, training.

Event comments:

Very small time race and very informal. Was a nice way to spend a Sunday morning and made for a good workout. While there weren't lots of volunteers, since the race was a simple out and back, there were plenty of people providing support. MPRRC does a nice job with this casual Sunday morning race.
