Didn't wake up until for a 8 o'clock race start. Quick breakfast for me and hubby and left breakfast for the kids

Comments:

It was misty and overcast - perfect for running, but a small turnout for this local race. I wasn't feeling very well prepared or psyched for this race. I looked at it as mostly a training run.
Post race
Warm down:

Drink and eat watermelon. Got a call on my cell phone from son at home that he had just thrown up. So we didn't linger long at the race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

me.

Event comments:

A nice small local race. There is a parade and festival afterwards 'tho we did not linger for those events. Nice course with some good rolling hills.
