Comments: Had a right sciatica x3 weeks prior to race...limited my training severely. Was hoping for faster run but not surprised. What would you do differently?: Carry small amount of water if I had known there would not be a water station. Transition 1

Comments: I was pretty excited to beat my friend, the 1st place finisher in our age group, by 2 minutes on the bike. Of course he smoked me on the runs and beat me by 8 minutes. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 2

Comments: Pretty slow run but I was pretty wasted...once again that sciatic problem I had slowed me down and it was real hot by now...was dehydrated also. I decided to just go at a pace I knew I could sustain without walking. What would you do differently?: Drink more. Post race
Warm down: Walking/drinking What limited your ability to perform faster: Sciatic problems 3 weeks prior to race. Event comments: No water station on the runs, ran out of water at the finish, 1 person announcing the winners but no one to hand out the ribbons...who wants to eat pizza after a race???
