What limited your ability to perform faster:

my hesitancy (planned) on the swim and my self imposed complicated T1...

Event comments:

greatly organized, just no post race activities...wish they had better definition of transition areas and/or chip timing...For next year's Bottomless I believe I can get 50 minutes and do the F1 in 1:45:00!!!

it was down and back for 400 m then got out of lake and ran on beach about 30 m then swam the same course...I seem to remember doing first half in 8:25...BTW I started about 0:30 after everyone to avoid the crowd since I am weak at swimming but still managed to pass up about 20 people so maybe next time I'll go out a bit more aggressively...
