Swim
Comments: A solid swim ! What would you do differently?: Not too much - work on my sighting, just swim more. Transition 1
Comments: A long run to T1 from the water. What would you do differently?: Not much - run faster from the water to T1? Bike
Comments: The bike again continues to be my limiter, but I am getting faster. Am getting more comfortable going downhill and turning in aero. Spent 99% of the race in aero ! I was just fitted last week and I think it's working out for me. What would you do differently?: BIKE. MORE! Transition 2
Comments: Yeah, I thought I was 855 (I was 885) and headed to the wrong rack ! d'oh! Other than that though, not bad. Took my bike shoes off and slipped my running shoes on. Grabbed my number felt and hat and headed out. What would you do differently?: Um, remember my race number. Run
Comments: A kind of hilly out and back. Mile 2 was the worst mentally. Once I got to the turn around I really picked it up! Passed a lot of people which is a big ego boost! What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Grabbed water, met up with J and found the BTers. Got food. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not much. Training for IMCOZ is going well and I PR'd this distance by FOURTEEN minutes !! Event comments: A good race put on by CGI racing. oh, the tshirt sucks, but if that's the worst, I'll take it ! and a 14 minute PR! schweeeeet. Last updated: 2009-07-20 12:00 AM

Woke up at 4:45. Had my usual breakfast of oatmeal, peanut butter, honey, and almonds. J drove to North East and it took us about an hour to get there.
None. There was a swim warm up but the sprint triathletes went off first, then everyone for the Oly ... then my AG. wasn't worth swimming then standing around wet for an hour.
