Swim
Comments: I think this was my best swim. I felt pretty good. I got off on a fast start and kept my pace very well. What would you do differently?: Breathing was a little fast at the end and I should have slowed down a bit Transition 1
Comments: I had a hard time getting my shoes clipped into my bike. very frustrating. What would you do differently?: nothing, just get my shoes clipped. Bike
Comments: I really need to train harder on my bike. This is my worst area. Transition 2
Comments: T-2 was a lot better. Felt good Run
Comments: This is the best run I have had yet. Its not the best but Im slowly getting stronger and building up to hit 07:00/mile What would you do differently?: Push a little harder at the end. Post race
Warm down: Got a nice massage from the National Holistic Institute. Eat carbs!! Drink plenty of fluids to replenish. What limited your ability to perform faster: My bike... Event comments: There were no drinking stations which was a bummer. The post race activities were good and there were plenty of cool stations to relax and buy Tri-gear.The finish medal was such a cool medal. I just wish I would have qualified for the nationals but I missed it by 4 spots. Oh well, I'll try again next year. Last updated: 2009-07-22 12:00 AM
