What would you do differently?: Drafting a little better ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Got a little dizzy and had a hard time getting my wetsuit off ![]() Bike
Comments: Took a nasty spill on the third lap breaking all the teeth on my big gear. My handle bars were bent and I was bleeding all over my handle bars. What would you do differently?: Not fall ![]() Transition 2
![]() Run
Comments: I ran so well even after falling on my bike. I averaged about 07:40 per mile which was good. I was very happy with my overall race. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Eat, drink, and be merry What limited your ability to perform faster: Falling off my now damaged bike. I could have beat my goal of 02:35 but next there's always next year. Event comments: Tri-California is my favorite event company. They are organized, safe, and have plenty of volunteers. Unlike the other companies, they assign your transition space so you don't have to get up at 05:00am just race for a spot. I hate that about other companies. What if you don't race until 09:00am? I think Tri-California has it down to a science and I will definitely keep participating in their events. Last updated: 2009-07-22 12:00 AM
