Protein bar and banana. Set up transition and hit up porta-pottie.

Comments:

Started out nice and strong. Ran into some traffic a couple times before the 1st turn and once their after. Sited well until after turning the second time to come back and then started veering outward some. All and all pretty good swim.
What would you do differently?:

Need to practice maintaining good form in a crowd.

Didn't feel too well getting out of the water and right calf was cramping so took my time in transition.

Struggled through the 1st 10 miles before I found a grove. Made good time from 10 - 29 and then had to work the way back. All and all a good ride.
What would you do differently?:

Needed to do more (or some) swim to bike brick work. Struggled over the 1st 10 miles to get a groove on.

Event comments:

Endorfun puts on great races period. Every race I have done through them and been at put on by them is awesome. They had 5 bottle swaps on the bike and in 80 degree heat that makes all the difference. Everything from pre-race activities, to meeting and getting your picture taken with the pros is great. If you are looking for a great race in the northeast, I highly recommend this one.

Course: Very hilly lollipop. 1st 10 miles really hilly with a monster climb at mile 10. Fairly flat with rolling hills from their out to the turn around (slight decline going out). Slight incline coming back but still fairly flat. Big climbs with about 12 to go and some steep down hills following them.
