Comments: At the last minute I got talked out of wearing a full wetsuit by the announcer constantly telling everyone how warm the water was (I get hot in a wetsuit). It was the only suit I had so I did it nude. BIG mistake. Nearly everyone else was wearing one. I lost 1:30 to 2 minutes and a top 10 out of the water as a result. What would you do differently?: Next time I'll follow the rule to always wear a wetsuit if they allow it. If I get hot I'll pull my cap off and slow down if I have to. It would still be faster. Transition 1
Comments: It was a weird T1 because I didn't have to take off my wetsuit but instead had to wiggle into a tight tri top while I was wet. Bike
Comments: Got to use my new aero helmet. My hamstrings tightened up with about 4 miles to go. Otherwise I had a shot to beat 20 mph for the first time. What would you do differently?: Get a tri bike (I just did) Transition 2

Warm down: I sat in the shade and watch the sweat pool up on the ground below me. I didn't realize how hot I was. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: I have been very good at getting enough liquids and nutrition during the race and this was no exception.
