Comments: I aimed for a consistent average heart of less than 180bpm. I achieved that, so I am happy, I was never expecting a fast time due to not training for this event. What would you do differently?: I was too dehydrated before the event even started so that didn't help. Post race
Warm down: I left event ASAP, I walked a fair bit later on to flush my legs but most of my run was below my A/T so my legs were sore but got better real quick. What limited your ability to perform faster: I tore my calf 4 weeks out from the City to Surf and have been struggling ever since. I haven't been training, I have been struggling mentally but I think I am over my low. Event comments: It is a tough course and hurts your legs, a good challenge overall.
