Comments: Was not ready for this...forgot everything I practiced. Breast stroke and side stroke...no freestyle. What would you do differently?: Signed up for swim lessons, and am planning to work hard on this for next season. Will also stick to the plan and swim freestyle and slow down. Transition 1
Comments: Felt I wasted a little time eating a gel. What would you do differently?: Run with bike, rather than walk fast. Also weight for gel once on bike course. Bike
Comments: Felt like I was tired already.... What would you do differently?: Work on endurance and cadence. Transition 2
Comments: I felt this was smooth and quick. What would you do differently?: Again take the gel and run out of the course. Run
Comments: Way Hot!!! Should have picked up the pace earlier...ran way to slow!! What would you do differently?: Pick up pace right away. Post race
Warm down: Walked, and stretched. Ate a banana, and a ton of water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Other than the fact that I just trained for this event for three weeks! Arrived early as it was my first tri. Had a piece of toast with penut butter.
Set up transition..tried to shake some of the nerves off.
Next time would eat a bit more, and not try to be the first one there
