Had to run thru sandy area in transition area & worried about sand in cleats

wipe feet better on grass after the sand

Hard fall over first speed bump in camp. Among other things had nosebleed and had to wait about 5 minutes for it to stop & get ready to ride. Chain fell off- race crew put it back on. Chain fell off again about mile 2; easily put it back on.
Overall, very pleased with getting through and improving time from past years.
What would you do differently?:

NOT FALL! I was having a hard times with my clips and not paying enough attention to the road.
Taking away time for fall my rankings were 114/152 and 11/14

knee very sore at beginning, got better; realized about half mile spot I had forgotten number, decided it wasn't worth it to go back

push through hills a little better

Event comments:

Lots of things good, some things need improvement.
Volunteers were great & there were plenty.
Something needs to be done about those speed bumps.
Run course just too hilly--find new route with at least some flat stretches.
