Comments: a disaster. I had set myself up with a good swim and bike. My legs and lungs felt good but my stomach was a mess. I had to walk, stretch, almost puke, almost use washroom but not finishing was not an option. End of the day I got it done missing my run goal by almost 9 minutes. What would you do differently?: Need to investigate GI issues. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I was really disappointed. This was the first time I really missed a goal badly. I will learn from this and use this experience to make me better.
