Pre-race routine:

Drove over from Kalispell. Got to the beach and registered.
Event warmup:

None. Just waited for the buses that never showed up, then jumped in the back of a pick up to get to the race start. It was a deep water start, so treaded water for a few minutes waiting for the gun.

Comments:

Felt like I pushed pretty hard, but my sighting was terrible so I think I added a lot of yardage. Really enjoyed the swim, but was disapointed with my time.
What would you do differently?:

sight more frequently
Post race
Warm down:

Hung out at the lake, ate bbq, and swam with my family a bit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Poor sighting

Event comments:

This was a really fun event, with a great bbq after and everyone was sent home with a bag of flathead cherries. I would have given it a 5, but the buses to take racers to the start never showed up which was a little frustrating.
