Comments:

What a ride I had. I was suffering from a tight neck, back spasms in my lower back and to top it off quad and hamstings were cramping up, but I was not going to give in on this race day. I had a great time racing another athlete from the turn around point to the bike finish. We were really pushing each other, it was awesome to do this. I drank all my water bottles but it was just not enough ...
Transition 2
  • 00m 46s
Comments:

I had a very good transition, very happy about it.
Run
  • 41m 8s
  • 10 kms
  • 04m 07s  min/km
Comments:

When I came out of T2 I looked at my watch knew it was possible to go under 2:30. Alls I had to do was run a sub 40 minute 10k, which I know is possble. I pushed it right to the finish, unfortunately I was suffering from lower back spasms and cramping in my legs, so I had no choice but to fight it. With 1k to go I was at 2:25. I thought to my self I have done it, but I had to still run hard to the finish. I definately left everything out on the course because for the first time I had no last sprint in me to get to the finish. I was very happy to the fact I was able to fight of the cramps and still run this well. A sb 40 minute 10k will have to wait for now. I not disappointed with the run at all in fact I was thrilled with. I gave a hundred percent and any one should be happy with that.
Post race
Warm down:

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Event comments:
