Warm down: Lots of good food at the finish. Past salad, mac and cheese, hot dogs, burgers, donuts - mmmmm... What limited your ability to perform faster: I need to continue my interval training and improve my uphill pace, especially over 7000 feet of vertical. Overall, I'm happy. For the 2 days before, I increased my calorie intake by about 15% - mostly through carbohydrate. Greek Island Chicken made for great lunches for 3 days. The night before consisted of an Asian chicken dish with plenty of brown rice. Taper for 3 days left me with muscles that felt really full.
