Pre-race routine:

I had a 400kcal breakfast with banana-jelly sandwich and orange juice at my place (I live in Zurich) and left by bus for the race.
Event warmup:

I run about 10mins with lot of stretching routines and then I went into the block.

Comments:

After the first 10km split, I had the impression I was going too fast for the 2h50 goal so in the second quarter I went slower and passed at the half 10 seconds above 1h25 feeling great.
After 25km I increased the speed and I was feeling very weel, keeping fast pace up to the end where I sprinted to go below 2h50 for ca.20secs.

Some walk to pick up the bag and then relaxing on the grass

It is a fast race and perfect for achieving your PB, beside the lake of Zurich and plenty of support with Swiss music

Course: The course started for the first time in the history at the entrance of a brand new tunnel on the highway and we had to inaugurate it going 3km inside and then backward with a slight uphill at the start. It was a terrible start because no GPS signal and very warm inside. I run by feeling... Then it is a flat course beside the Zurich lake.
