Swim
Comments: This was aweful. It was my first tri, so I went out way to fast, then freaked out with everyone so close in the pool and had to stop to maintain my composure at the halfway point. After composing myself, I was able to swim smoothly the last 200+. What would you do differently?: With experience comes composure, so the more experience the more calm I should be. Try to not freak out and maintain breathing I've practiced in training. Transition 1
Comments: Since this was my first race, I hadn't purchased the crap I needed, so if I recall, I actually put on a t-shirt and socks during this transition. Now, I choose to go barefoot. What would you do differently?: Go barefoot and have the right tri-wear (i.e. a tri top and bottom) Bike

Post race
Event comments: This is a good race for a beginner because a lot of people don't have all the "tri gear" yet, and a lot of people are new, so it's not initimidating. It's also very short, which I felt was good in giving me confidence to go into a true sprint tri. I'd recommend to beginners, but if you're not a beginner, don't waste your time.
