the newbees that were out before me all had wet suits. comming aroud the back corner was blinding towords last bouy

wetsuit, wetsuit, wetsuit could have shaved 2 min off time. need to sight and swim

hot, very hot I thank the man with the garden hose your the greatest.
I am ashamed to be a runner at this point I run faster practicing the heat killed me I was expecting to hit a 6- 630 pace all I could do was think about the next shaded area infront of me
What would you do differently?:

had to much at the end the heat fooled me should have pushed the last mile instead of last half mile with a hard 200m kick at end

thank god the lake didnt heat up, it felt so cool to swim after

What limited your ability to perform faster:

should have not been cheap and atleast rented a wetsuit.
no weight training with my legs.
the heat and myself.

Event comments:

my first triathlon and I think it was a great choice for a first next time you see me I'll be comming for you!
