Swim
Comments: I think the course was longer than advertised, I'm pretty sure was swimming faster than that. Barely had to sight on the way out. Was able to use the location of the sun in relation to where it hit my goggles when I breathed to keep a good line. Only had to sight three times on the way out, and was able to latch onto soem feet on the way back, so barely had to sight on the way in either What would you do differently?: swim harder? Transition 1
Comments: Raced through T1. Wet suit was off in no time, shoes, glasses and helmet on, and I was off What would you do differently?: Fastest T1 ever I think Bike
Comments: Felt like I was really working harder than that. Ended up almost a minute slower than a month ago. What would you do differently?: RPE was high, so I'm not sure what the issue was Transition 2
Comments: Would have been faster, but the guy that was racked next to me through his wetsuit over the rack where I had to rack my bike, so my bike got hung up on it. What would you do differently?: Rack next to a more considerate racer. Run
Comments: Again, felt like I was working pretty hard (RPE high), but it wasn't reflected in the time. Pretty much my worst ranking ever for the run. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I'm not sure if it was just one of those days, or if my performance was affected by donating blood two weeks ago. Event comments: Great race, can't beat the price at $25. This was going to be my last one, but I think I might be back in two weeks, I don't want the season to end on a downer like tonight Last updated: 2009-08-07 12:00 AM

Worked all day
Got there about an hour before the race, set up, found Dave (Hudnik) and we just shot the breeze until it was time to get the wetsuits on. Quick swim to loosen up.
