Swim
  • 13m 4s
  • 880 yards
  • 01m 29s / 100 yards
Comments:

My swim started out kind of bad. This is only my 3rd tri, and I am still getting used to swimming in a crowd. I get bumped and I stop to let the person by. I guess I need to get a little more aggresive. On the leg back it was much better. Lees people around me and I got into a good rythem.
What would you do differently?:

I guess don't let the crowd around me at the start bother me so much.

Comments:

Tough bike ride up the hill with 3 loops. having Chris McCormack smoke past me on his tri bike really puts this all into perspective.
What would you do differently?:

With the hill up and coming fast back dowm with curves I would bring my road bike next yeat instead of the tri bike. I never got areo since I had to be on the breaks for the turns coming down the hill.

Just tried to get in quick and out. Still took me over 2 minutes. My how time flys when you are having fun...

Event comments:

This was fun. What a great place for a tri. The swim was awesome in the clear water. Bike course should be changed before someone gets hurt with bikes going slow up the hill and flying down within inches of each other. It wouldn't be so bad but there are some pretty good corners to negociate at speed. Other then that it was a challenging course but that's why we do this. To challenge ourselves. I will be back next year.
