Lots of pushing and contact in the water which was surprising; coming out of the water I had trouble getting my legs underneath me; swimmers passed me running to the transition.

Forgot my shirt so I had to take my helmet off; the shirt had the number on the front which got caught up in the shirt as I put it over my head.

Really stressed starting the run; think I was dehydrated; stopped at first water stn and took in gatorade and water; helped noticeably.

Got passed by two guys in my age group in the last 2km.

running; need to continue to get lighter; 9.5mins off the running time of the overall clyde winner;

competitors were all friendly and helpful; race registration was well organized.
