COuld not hold my crawl... again. Did a lot of the Dolphin jump (water was shallow for a long section)

practice - practice - practice open water swimming.

Too long.. Lost 1 min 40 secs just looking for my helmet. Somebody must have bumped it off my bike, did not know where it came from afterwards, and put it on the ground in someone's else transition area.. Really s*cks.
What would you do differently?:

Set my helmet in a more secure way than just sitting on my handlebad.

Too long again.. actually started running out from the bike IN gate, at the wrong end of the transition area. The gates were not clearly marked.
What would you do differently?:

Vizualize better the flow of the transitions before the race.

I really did not meet my target of 4:30 /km pace. It was really hot, and the sun was coming down hard on us. Also, not enough people on the course to catch up to. Hard to stay motivated.

Push harder to keep the pace going.
