Comments: It was hard to warm up in pond/lake before hand b/c there's no real beach. It was freezing cold (no wetsuit) so it took me a bit to adjust to the cold when I put my face in the water. Started in the back to the left. Once I got used to it, it was good. Passed a good amount of people. Didn't get passed by wave behind me! What would you do differently?: Wetsuit. Transition 1
Comments: Jogged from lake to T1 - jogged out with bike. What would you do differently?: Not unroll sock after I had carefully rolled it before the race :+) Bike
Comments: Do hills for training but not enough apparently! Way more on the way back than I remembered. Totally thought about walking the last set before the downhill to transition but another athlete got me through (thanked her when I caught up to her on the downhill) What would you do differently?: Lose weight - tri bike rather than hybrid. Keep doing hills! Transition 2

Warm down: Walked down hill to car What limited your ability to perform faster: Weight is the biggest impediment. Event comments: For a new race series this was good. Just enough volunteers. As someone else said, very cool medal. Couldn't stop smiling so it must have been good :+) I did Danskin Webster Lake and did not like the amount of people at all. Loved the size of this race!
