Dropped my chain summitting on return ride, able to get chain back on without dismounting, didn't really lose any time.

Post race
Warm down:

walk, rest in shade, had grapes and 1/2 bagel with honey milk. No water was left at the finish by the time I got back up to get some.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I am not a good runner, and did less running this summer with an IT band overuse/SI rotation. Late start on training for the running. Did well with that taken into consideration.

Event comments:

Wish they would have a different food sponsor so it wouldn't be greasy pizza. Fruit and bagels were good though. They need more water at the finish. No water stations anywhere, so I was happy that I brought my water belt. Wouldn't have made it without my own water on the 2nd run.

Heart rate much higher on the 2nd run, maxed and averaged up lactic acid threshold, made me nervous about cramping. Did walk 0.1 at 1.5 and 2.5 miles to allow heart rate to drop and avoid cramping.
