Pre-race routine:

Got down to the plaza area scoped out some of the exibits and checked in my gear

Comments:

The run was better than expected but my Garmin was way off it was long by about 4%. The start of the run was nice tried to keep the HR around 150 and about 11 min/hour pace. Did well but started getting warm around km 4 so had to shed my sweater and walked while taking it off. Then kept the pace all they way through downtown and into stanley park and did some walks up the hills and a few aid stations. I decided to walk the big hill and did that and then ran down the hill until km 18 and decided to walk a k and then run it in. I was surprised how I lasted. I was very happy with my run was thinking around 2:45 and did it in 2:37 which is great.
What would you do differently?:

More training
Post race
Warm down:

Lots of streching and massage and my legs were hurting.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not being in shape and limited training.

Event comments:

Good race the post race food could be better but ok they had well stocked aid stations and I liked it overall.
