Had a little difficulty getting into my shoes and getting them strapped well. I actually almost wrecked right at the beginning of the bike

Practice getting on the bike and into my shoes a little more

Legs are just still real weak, also not sure if maybe I should have tried to eat something on the bike

Train more, legs just fell like lead weights

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Really just need to get in a little better shape, and get a higher starting position so I'm not stuck behind a bunch of lying, slow swimmers

Event comments:

Seeing as this was my second race, and I've really only been training a short time, I did a really great job. My competitiveness however, tells me I should have done better and won the clydesdale division. I did reach my goal of placing, but I also wanted to finish under 1:10
