Run
Comments: run was good, i thought i went out kinda fast. i was worried i was gonna burn out, but i was fighting to slow down. so i said "f" it and just ran. I was taking ice when they offered it and dumping it down my shirt. Drank a beer a little before the 4 mile mark. tried to take the gu and dropped it...dang. my knee felt really good. this was a good pre run to the freep. i'm even thinking of maybe doing brooksie. we'll see how the knee feels in the next few weeks. Warm down: thought i was gonna puke. I was freezing. got a water and a banana and walked to my car. it took me about 20min to get back to my car. changed at my car sat there the with heat on for a few, decided it might be a good idea to head home. What limited your ability to perform faster: just fitness level, not drop my gu. Event comments: Race was great, i'm not sure why i was so cold when i finished. i got home and just assed right out. i'm thinking it might have been not enough calories, i'm not sure i just felt like crap. it took me a couple hours once i got home to feel better...weird. up at 5:30 ate some cereal, headed south.
got there late, found a place to part after driving around for ever....had to pee. I was freezing. Tried to find Jason, but was running way late. didn't see him at the clock so i headed to the street.
